That scene in O'Neill's office was great. The way Teal'c just sat down and Jack was obviously used enough to people standing until he sits down that he was surprised. And then the way he blew up for a second.
I liked the ep, the flashbacks didn't bother me (fairly unusual for me), and the actors were strong.
Atlantis...I had reservations about some things, such as Weir giving Bates implicit permision to walk all over her in the 'interviews'. Teyla was okay, I thought, in this episode. At least we got to see her fight -- not a helpless female anymore -- and she had a nice moment talking to Jesus of Athosia (credit for the nickname goes to thewildmole). Of course, in the end it only bore watching for the men. Sheppard was in command mode -- loved that! McKay -- absolutely adorable. The way Sheppard called Ford a "little boy" was cute, too.
I particularly liked the end scene, when Sheppard is taunting the Wraith. The way it was shot, with Sheppard coming in and out of the light, not to mention the darkness of that general area, whereas the rest of Atlantis is all sweetness and light pink, emphasized the darkness of the entire situation. I wonder where they'll go with this prisoner scene. Certainly the way they will handle him will shed a lot of light on their personalities.
