Steve nods, then nods again. "Oh," he says stupidly. He's still processing Danny's words. Danny's beautiful, gorgeous words.

He gets to have more of this. More of Danny. More of everything.

Danny reaches out to Steve, fingers brushing Steve's cheek with a surprisingly gentle touch. "Does that plan work for you, big guy?"

"Yeah. It works for me." Steve's voice is rough now and Danny kisses him again, shivering a little in the cool evening breeze.

"It's high time we got started on it, then." And with an arm around Steve's waist, Danny leads him toward the house. "Come on, what are you waiting for? I'm starving."
