Utterly pointless blather

Bleh. Work has been very dull this week. Which I have to remind myself isn't necessarily a bad thing, since I've had very awful non-dull jobs in the past. It's just that nothing is going on, and it's dull, dull, dull. I'm dull, too. My clothes are dull. My hair is dull. Just sort of not-really-curly, just frizzy and, yes, dull.
My lunch was pretty darn dull, too. Turkey sandwich. How not exciting.
I keep trying to work on my ficathon fic, but it's dull, too. Jack and Daniel are failing to light up the page. At this point they're having a dull, pointless conversation. Maybe I can move them on to having some dull sex.

<a "href=http://www.hyperdictionary.com>"Hyperdictionary</a> has 19 definitions listed for "dull". I personally like "so lacking in interest as to cause mental weariness". It lists "irksome" as a synonym, which doesn't work for me. "Dull" and "irksome" are two totally different things, aren't they? I can be irked by dullness, but being irked is never dull.
"Irked" is very strange word.
Anyway let me just say that that my job/life/self is so lacking in interest, that it is causing me mental weariness. At least at this very moment. Thank goodness for my flist. You folks aren't dull at all.
