I love the thought of them sneaking downstairs for cookies-- all stealthy-like. *g* And I giggled at the Flash Gordon DVDs. I remember you watched them, and pictured you watching and thinking that John would get a kick of them--especially since all the bad guys seemed to forget their pants. *g*
I just got through working four brutal twelve hour shifts, and this (plus a glass of wine), was exactly what I needed to help me get into the Christmas spirit. :)
Okay - now I've read it & I'm just beaming. That was completely adorable - I loved it! (Am off to comment at the fic too.) Thank you so much - you've made my Christmas (& that's not hyperbole!) I must go & edit my festive fic recs right now! :-)
Aw, I'm so glad you liked! John would be all about the old Flash Gordons. Especially the spaceships with the sparklers attached to the end. Hee!
You poor dear, working so hard! I can't imagine doing 12 hours shifts, although I guess I did work those kinds of hours every now and then when I was a postdoc. Eeee. I avoided it when I could.
It's perfect! I hadn't known that I wanted Christmas at the Millers until I started to read it & just felt all warm & happy & 'yes, this is what I need right now'. :-)

I am delighted and gleeful now too!
I love Mr. Toe. And why does "erector set" always make my brain spout bad jokes?
Thank you!
