thegrrrl2002: (John and Rodney irresistible)

::sighs::

Like just about everyone else on my flist, I'm sad and mopey about the end of SGA. I had hoped it would go one more season, figuring they'd use it as a lead-in for the stoopid new series about stoopid people who are not John and Rodney and Teyla and Ronon et al. Especially since it was doing relatively well in the ratings. WTF, MGM?

It's all just so wrong! I've been involved in the fandom since the very beginning, and still am enamored with the show. And John and Rodney. I wanted the show to go on forever, much like I suspect the fandom will. A movie is not the same as a series, but it's still a chance to see our heroes in action. It's not over! The John/Rodney love will prevail!

So, before I start singing "Always and Forever", one final word--okay, picture-- behind the cut:

"Sheppard is staring at my ass again, isn't he?"

Okay, two pictures:

Nnnnngh.

That was *exactly* what I had hoped as well. Seeing the news first thing in the morning was such a shock. I went through two Kleenex-Boxes and a very awkward explanation to my boss in the office later that day, regarding my red eyes.

I think you've just started me on my third Kleenex-Box.

Ha, look at those guys!

Who needs "young and despereate" space-explorers stranded on a pre-programmed ancient ship and lost in space (probably sharing the Clearasil and having sleepovers/pajama-parties).

::hugs you::

It is so sad! One more year, was that too much to ask for? We don't want pretty young people lost in space! We want our beautiful grown-up space dorks!

...omg...

We don't want pretty young people lost in space!

I sincerely hope it isn't like the youthful update shown in 200 (yes, this is the image I now have running through my head, I blame you entirely :P).

That would be.... well, there are no words to describe how bad it would be. Dorks ftw.
