And Bates! That was his name. Yeah, if I were Weir I would have slapped him down in a second. She should have been running the show with those interviews. It was actually painful to watch. I've been in enough business meetings (and scientific conventions) where women get talked over all the time, and it bugs the hell out of me.
I think I know what bugs me about Teyla, too. She smiles too much. Or maybe just at the wrong moments. It comes across to me as being appeasing, when she shouldn't be.
