Firefly was awesome! I don't get FOX, they canceled Firefly (after showing it out of order at that) and kept Tru Calling for a second year after it got worse ratings. Ok ok, Firefly was more expensive to film. Don't care. Hate.
You know there's going to be a film next summer for Firefly, right? Happiness.
I love Jayne beyond belief - Adam Baldwin always brings the funny. Mal, Zoe, Walsh and Kaylee are my next favorites because they're fun, good characters. Zoe kicks butt and rocks beyond belief, as does Kaylee in a different way. I especially like how they're both women, rather than asexual (like River). Good female characters are hard to find. Which brings me to Inara, who needed more backstory to be sympathetic and until then epitomized the Madonna/whore dichotomy of women in the media (my opinion).
