Sometimes I read a story that makes me laugh out loud or snicker or has me on the edge of my seat or squirmy in all the right ways...
Halfway through this, I hit a line - I don't even remember which one - and I was suddenly aware that I was smiling the biggest, happiest smile I'm capable of smiling - just sitting at my computer in a room by myself just...smiling because Steve and Danny were having incredibly erotic first time sex on the beach.
I just love Danny all relaxed and turned on and agreeable and even fucking grateful and then realizing Steve wasn't just doing him favors, and then there was kissing and it was ROMANTIC kissing and Steve's sweet, dopey smile and this was 3187 words of perfect right here.
I didn't want it to end. I read it twice before I commented.
And I'm still smiling.
I'll buy you a pony AND a tiara if you'll write the morning after sex. *happy sigh* Because Danny should never lack for good sex and Steve would much rather spend his time arguing with Danny and making Danny pre-verbal than picking up pretty blonds in the grocery store, no matter how long and perfect their legs are. And if making Danny groan and making Danny's head fall back against his shoulder also has the benefit of making Danny less cranky and less of a hothead? That's a quadruple win right there!
