yikes about the teacher lining you all up; pants vs. skirts. when i was in 7th grade the students (and most of the teachers) signed a petition stating that the female students should be allowed to wear pants to school.
this was in 1970 (i think). i still remember the name of the only student who refused to sign the petition. and we won, i think that's why i hate wearing dresses and skirts...we were forced to wear them. and it was a public school.
yes, life gets really interesting at 40. it did for me anyway. thank you for this very interseting meme. and it is interesting. not boring at all!
