The fabulous [livejournal.com profile] maching_monkey has posted her McKay ficathon fic, and oh, it is so wonderful. It's a classic Monkey fic--action, adventure, angst--it's got it all. It's a Sheppard/Mckay slash fic, but really, it's all about McKay. ::pets McKay:: Poor woobie.

The fic is posted in two parts:

Acts of Enormity, Part I

Acts of Enormity, Part II

ETA: And when you're done with that, go to [livejournal.com profile] kylielee1000's Invulnerable, another Sheppard/McKay fic, smutty and funny and oh so hot. And the thing with the hummus made me laugh like a loon.

Quickest rec'er in town, that's me. Especially when it's that or clean the bathroom. Eep, it's scary in there. Yet the mildew is making fascinating patterns on the wall.

See, it's organic art--it shouldn't be disturbed, it's a natural wonder! That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

And yes, [livejournal.com profile] maching_monkey's fic is fabulous. As always. She's so cool. *g*

This is also why you are the fastest beta in the West.

How's that bathroom? Is it clean yet?

DH, for all his wonderful qualities, does have the male eyesight problem whereby he cannot notice that the bathroom is filthy. There's no point in waiting for him to notice it's dirty and to clean it, because he never notices it's dirty. This male problem is probably women end up cleaning bathrooms. It's because we get grossed out.

However, I feel that the mildew in your bathroom is some kind of deliberate scientific experiment. You could be onto the cure for cancer! Study it, don't clean it up.

The mildew was lovely. As I've said, I'm fond of fungus in all its wonderful incarnations. But...not on the bathroom wall. Of course, with the peeling and chipping paint, it just adds to that look of urban decay that I love so much. ::snort::

Is it time for us to move yet?

I did put up a new shower curtain (from Target, of course!) that has big pink and purple flowers on it. So silly! I love it.

And yes, next time, the husband gets mildew duty.

Paul is Pookie, but Rodney is a woobie. It's more of a descriptive term than a nickname. Because we all love him so. (Including Sheppard).

Pookie and Woobie. Hee! I love it. Sheppard needs a name now. How about. . .womble? The Wombles are pretty laid back. ;)

And I read and really enjoyed both those stories you rec'd. Love recs, everyone should rec, often.
