Wow, that was really intense. I'd love to know what was going on in Sheppard's mind, because I was as confused as poor McKay about why he couldn't, could, couldn't, could... It occurs to me that people finding out would be a huge deal in this set-up, and yet how hard would it be to keep it a secret in such a closed social setting. So that kind of makes the ending feeling less like an ending and more like a peaceful interlude before it all hits the fan.
Hmmm, you know, it's scenes like the stick fighting one that makes me really interested in actually seeing McKay and Sheppard duke it out once - something about violence and intense feelings can be sexy when it's a one off part of an evolving relationship.
