There's near-touchies at c. 4.09 / 4.10, when it suddenly clicked with me that, not only does Shepm move to stand directly behind Rodney's chair as they watch the security replay, he's actually holding on to the back of the chair. And when Rodney turns around, the face to crotch proximity is... well, I may have to revise my view of the slash-lite feel for this ep - and this is as far as I've re-watched.

What software are you capping with? I'd post a few but I can't take them from the torrented file unless I burn it to disk, I think. WMP sux! Possibly not even then.

I'm still making notes about where I'm going to grovelbegsmarm for an icon or two from you, by the way. Around 4.43, where Rodney has his hand over his mouth and is looking unhappy and HAWT, that looks like a possibility! If you have time on your hands, of course...

I noticed that face-to-crotch bit, too. *g* Gosh, I loved this ep.

I cap with Screenprint 32, a really simple screencapture program. (and free!). I use Windows Media Player (version 9, I think?), but you have to make sure to turn off all the video acceleration in order for the captures to work. When the avi is playing, and I have an error message saying it can't find the right codec, I know it's in the correct mode for capping (the audio and video end up being out of synch, too). I have to make sure my firewall won't let WMP access the internet, because I'm afraid it might find the right codec and download it. Although I'm sure it would ask first.

I have managed to do captures with RealOne Player, but turning off the video acceleration is hard to do, and I seem to be unable to do it anymore. Which is very strange.

Does that help at all?

Right now I'm working on a fic, but I will be more than happy to make icons for you later this weekend! Or later this afternoon, depending on how the fic goes. I may need a break from it. Please feel free to be as specific as you want, I find iconing to be great fun and having a little direction actually makes it easier for me. Because there is just so much Rodney icon fodder in this ep! I feel like a kid in a candy store. Full of chocolate covered Hewletts.

That helps muchly! I'm going to have a dig around, see what I can come up with. I'll also make a little list - I *love* having icons to order, and have happily driven maryavatar insane over the last few years, going "text too big!" "Uhm, can I have that all moved about 5% over to the left, and then in a slightly different tone..." I'm much less insanely picky clearer in my directions these days, thank God! Otherwise, she'd beat me to death.

Oh... chocolate covered Hewletts! The dilemma would be, do you lick or do you bite or do you just sort of suck purposefully all over? I swear, between you, Chelle and the gestalt HAWTNESS, my brain will fry this weekend, fry I tells ya!

I'm also thinking about them sharing a room on the Daedalus, with two single bunk-beds, and eighteen nights of anxieties about the internal security system. And how hellish that would be after a blissful ten days back on Earth, out of sight of everyone for positively hours at a time. I have a feeling you planted the bunk idea in my head, too! Bad Grrrl!

Feel free to be as picky as you need to be with the icons! May as well get exactly what you want. It's not bother at all. If it makes you happy, then I'm happy. *g*

I think some areas would require gentle nibbling and sucking, and others, biting. Like that ass. Definitely biteable.

Ohhhh, yeah, so close, and yet so far. John laying in bed with a hard-on, listening to Rodney breathe. I think they eventually give in, don't you? John has a breaking point, I know he does. You know he does, too. ::beams mind waves at you:: And you know exactly where that breaking point is, and you want to write a nice juicy fic telling us all about it.

I wonder what went on back on earth, though. Was Rodney all caught up in dealing with the Daedalus and being all sciency and geeky that he sort of neglected John? Was John all sulky about it? Where they stuck sleeping at the SGC, where security cameras abound?

Hee, I had a plot bunny this morning where Weir says, "I know that there are limited space on board, gentlemen, but I think we can find private quarters for the Head of Security and the Head of the Science Department." And Rodney answers distractedly, because he's doing something VERY IMPORTANT on his computer, "I don't mind sharing with the Major, uh, Colonel, uh, whatever, as long as he doesn't snore too loudly, because then I would be forced to smother him in his sleep."

And then later John gets up from his bunk because it's Rodney who's snoring like a freight train after John and he had mind-blowing sex, and John goes out and that's where we pick up the episode.
