SGA: Duet

I'm starting my love letter to Martin Gero right now. Because he rocks like a big rockin' thing. Maybe I'm blinded by the McKay love (and THIS is the McKay that I love), but I thought this ep was the most fabulous thing ever. DH nailed it, the man is simply briliant. There were scenes that could have gone over the top, but didn't, as opposed to last week's ep. I love that we got to see Kate again, I loved that everyone was involved--how great was it that every time something was being tested, or Rodney was in the infirmary, Weir, Sheppard, and Zelenka were hovering around in the background?

And, of course, the kiss. I'm not a Carson/McKay shipper, but I thought the kiss was great. Nicely done, and Rodney's reaction to it was funny and understated, thank goodness.

How sweet were McKay's scenes with Sheppard, though? Sheppard wanting to make sure "they were good". Awww. And that cute little moment at the end where Sheppard tells Cadman it would be his worse nightmare ever to be stuck in McKay's head--what a flirty little look he gave McKay during that. *g*

I even enjoyed McKay's "date".

But my mind is still buzzing over the hotness. I mean, McKay was red-hot in this ep. The unzipped shirt? Killer. Naked in bed? Sheer torture. Damn those sheets. And all those lovely rumpled in the infirmary closeups...

Oh, and there were some bits with Ronan, weren't there? I'm still liking him.

There's so much to say about this ep, (Zelenka! Zelenka! Zelenka!) but I just want to wallow in the pretty right now. And the sheer joy of having watched a great episode.

I was so afraid of things going over the top with this ep, but I thought it was just perfect. I'm going to end up screencapping every single frame, you know that. *g*

I know. I was just thinking that it was too bad you probably weren't going to be around to cap it until next after next week.

Although I still haven't done anything with the caps from last week.

This ep. I can't stop smiling. It's making me so happy.

It's easy to see why the rest of the cast practically worships DH when you watch an ep like this. It was almost all him, and he did it so well, even if I did wince when he was a woman a couple of times, but it wasn't campy. That really is how women move. And I loved that you could tell the instant she took over. Such amazing acting skill.

And Kate.

And everyone being concerned about Rodney and making sure they're there.

This was definitely a feel good episode.

And we got skin.

And lovely shots of that chest.

Concerned John, flirty John, trying-to-deal-with-Ronan's-lack of table manners John! They're all so damned cute.

+nods+ I know! The voices, even, were completely different from one another. When Carson asked which one said they'd 'let go of control' I knew it was Cadman because he 'voice' is softer, how'd he not know? +lol+
