I have returned!

And there was much rejoicing. I had the lovely experience of spending Sunday night in Newark Airport, due to the cancellation of my flight. It's definitely not a good way to end a lovely, fattening, and relaxing vacation. Although, when you are really tired? A luggage cart is a pretty good place to catch a few zzz's. Still tired, though, even after sleeping through most of yesterday.

But--100 icons! *g* Now that cheered me up a great deal. As did "Condemned". I've watched it twice so far, and I have much love for it. Oh, the subtext! The hotness! And, a bit of my favorite: dorky Sheppard! It made me very happy.

I missed you all. I dont' think I'll have a chance to catch up on my flist, but I hope everyone had a good week. I see that I have some new friends. Howdy! ::waves:: Don't be shy!

What's the ficcy situation? I suspect I have lots of fic to catch up on. Have I missed anything else exciting? Like, say, David Hewlett's contract being amended to require him to be naked in every episode?

Damn this work thing. ::glares at email:: They expect me to like, *do* stuff. When I'd much rather be reading, making icons, or writing fic. Can't that be my job? I'd work very hard at it, honest, I would.

So not my favorite airport. Even though I grew up not too far from it, just outside of Newark. I was tempted to spend the night riding around in circles on the monorail, but I figured there were too many chances to bump into unsavory characters.

Vacation was wonderful, though. I had fun with my sisters, and got a chance to see some cousins and their grown-up children, when did that happen? The weather was pretty good, the water, warm, and I ate much pie, for some reason. Apple caramel, and raspberry peach. Very delicious! And lots of seafood.

Oooh, now I'm hungry.
