Wow. I thought this ep would be a wash, just a big action adventure shoot'em up type thing. Instead it was all about the great big team love. So beautiful! And Ronon, with the fighting and the pain and hurt and looking really, really good.


It starts off on a surprising note. No, not the perfect ass! ::sobs::


I love Rodney's "that did not just happen" reaction. Because yeah, that would totally be me!


I know it's a blurry shot, but--Aw!! John to the rescue! How sweet is that?


And then things don't go well for the rest of the team.


John, in his prettily unconscious pose. How many eps does this make? Not that I'm complaining. I like John sprawled out on the ground.


Ronon's kind of pissed, huh?


Meanwhile, John is pretty.


And Rodney can't remember where his left his pretty boyfriend with the messy hair.


Ronon takes matters into his own hands. I liked this, and didn't expect it at all.


I also liked the way the entire ep was filmed, a little grittier than usual, with what looks like hand-held camera, and then lots of big ole crane shots.


And I loved the urban setting. It makes a great change from the typical Vancouver woodsy stuff. A very stark look, even back in the village, in the beginning. Oh yeah, and Ronon? Pretty.


C'mon, tell me you didn't laugh out loud when you saw Devo!Wraith.



Yes, Rodney, it's all up to you. Because you're so damn cute.


The leather gauntlets, while looking silly in the promo shots, definitely work for me here.


And yet, despite all the Action and Adventure, there's time for a cute John/Rodney moment. (I need a high res file of this ep, I really do). Who is convinced they kissed before heading up to the briefing room?


John makes a very cute bad joke.


And Rodney loves him for it.


I know it's blurry, but Ronon is just so cool. I wonder how much of these kind of shots are JM and how many are his stunt double.


John! You had your hands on your hips, didn't you?! Admit it!!!


Oooh, yeah. Taking the armor from his dead buddies. I love the flashback scenes. They were really well done, although the actress who played his wife/girlfriend didn't exactly grab me.


Again, JM? I'm thinking it's him. He's incredibly graceful.


The visuals in this ep are just awesome.

Yes, Teyla, you are the most adult out of all of them. Scary, isn't it? I also want to mention how much I love Teyla's lack of makeup (at least it looks that way). She looks great, and very real.

::giggles:: At first I thought they were smiley faces, but now I'm thinking flowers? Or lemons? A present from his boyfriend, maybe? (as if this ep wasn't enough fun already!)

Need I mention how fabulous it is that everyone came along to rescue Ronon? And how hot they all looked doing it?

So, to sum it all up - Ronon: kickass warrior with a marshmallow filling; Rodney: Arrow in his ASS; Carson: Would rather shoot wraith than have Rodney as a patient; John: Big Hero who never really gets to do anything heroic; and Teyla: Coolest, baddest ass of them all. And looks fabulous while kicking ass.

I wondered about JM doing all that jupming and action stuff too because didn't he say that he'd messed up his knee(s) and that's why he didn't do a lot of kicking in his fight scenes? But no matter who was behind it, Ronon was amazing. *g*

I thought the episode wasn't going to work for me with the whole dark/cold world thing. Seemed to depressing compared to last week's episode. But then arrow in ass saved me (like I would really quit watching) but then I thought it would be a cute Rodney episode only with his "That did NOT JUST HAPPEN" and the drugs. But come on, a warrior Wraith with bad hair and then the goggles? So not working for me...until the team goes to rescue Ronon. I loved the Atlantis crew v. Caldwell. I loved Carson and Rodney fighting over who loves Ronon more. I loved the John/Teyla "feeling" talk. And I adored, squee-ed and screamed at my tv "I LOVE YOU" when Ronon hugged Carson and John had his little pouty face going.

I have been really impressed with this season and I adore teh screen caps. Thank you so much for sharing them!

I so want an icon of J&R sitting on the floor together. That cap makes me incredibly happy.

And the boxers! Oh. My. God. They are lemon slices! I thought they were smilely faces too, but it's clear in the cap that there's a yellow rind, a pulp, and an inner white core. Someone gave Rodney citrus boxers, and he wears them! That makes me happy, too.

Yeah, I noticed the cinematography right from the opening sequence. The whole episosde had a more "movie" feel to the way it was filmed, esp. with the letterboxing on the episode.

I still can't tell what's on Rodney's boxers. I thought it was smiley faces, but some people are saying lemon slices? OMG, if it is lemons, and I convince myself John gave the boxers to Rodney, then that changes my entire view of the lemon scene in the "The Pegausus Project"! I guess I'll just have to watch the boxer scene over and over until I can tell for sure. Such hardship ;)

OMG! After getting a good look at the boxers, I think they are lemon slices! LOL! That settles it, the shorts were a gift from John to Rodney when they went back to Earth (or he ordered them from a catalog and Caldwell all unknowingly delivered a gift of gay love), and the Lemon of Doom from Pegagus Project was his way of saying, "I love you. Take care of yourself while I'm not with you." *g*

Everytime something happens..usually involving my computer, I say the exact same thing as Rodney, so I was like, "Go, Rodney!!"

That scene on the floor, I like to think there was a quick kiss at the end..it's like that thing with the fortune cookies..after every fortune add in "in bed" after every John and Rodney scene, add in "quick kiss"..it's a happy place. *smile*
