Very Important Stuff

I'm firmly convinced that there's a mathematical theory involving the area of carpeted to bare floor and the statistical odds of the cat(s) coughing up a hairball onto the carpet/rug rather then the hard surface. ;-)

I've been slowly removing all the wall to wall carpeting in my house and replacing it with hard wood or tile, but the little darlings still manage to hit a rug or carpet everytime. It's a law of nature or something.
