Both
gigitrek and
gypsy86 have written fics in the same sort of universe as my Turning the Page ficlet. This makes me very happy, because both fics are such a delight. I'm all warm and fuzzy over it.
::hugs them both, bonking their heads together in the process::
gypsy86's "Did You Get the Bear" is a lovely, warm Jack/Daniel moment, touching and funny and very sweet, with a little bit of sad, too. I'm so happy she's writing SG-1 now.
gigitrek's "Labour Day" is about, yes, that. Or, as most of us know it, Labor. *g*. Jack and Sam are just great here. I adore Gigi's take on Jack. He's trying so damn hard. I just want to take him home and cuddle him, although I suppose I'll have to leave that to Daniel.
I say now, go forth and read both fics!

Date: 2004-06-29 09:28 am (UTC)how sad is it that I read gigi's story and immediately got another plot bunny? This thing has taken on a life of it's own.

Date: 2004-06-29 03:37 pm (UTC)Go, independent bunny, though. And you have to post the stories at Gateway and JackDanielites (and alpha_gate if you want, but they're kind of in my bad books lately for ridiculous yammering and a surfeit of bad fic.) Because people have been telling me they haven't read the earlier stories (despite the fact I linked to both.)

Date: 2004-06-30 03:46 pm (UTC)Please do join at least one of the groups. I think Gateway's the best for straight (so to speak) fic and minimal chatter, but they're all pretty decent.
