[livejournal.com profile] sheafrotherdon has the most lovely Joe!Face Festival going on in her journal. All those dorky, glorious caps inspired me to make some Joe!Face icons to share. How not, with all that lovely, silly, dorky, hot, snarky face stuff going on? Some caps I snagged from the festival, and some are my own--I can't remember which were which now, so I hope no one is offended if I don't credit the images except for 'hey, go and check out the festival'.

Please feel free to snag and I'd be happy to add text to any of them.

Vista is evil, and you should save yourself. Run as far and as fast as you can from it for as long as you can! ::shudders in horror:: I love my laptop, but god do I hate HP Pavilion for inflicting Vista upon it. ::pets Tenrai:: He really did nothing to deserve that kind of pain...

And I'm severly dislexic, so I just spelled it how I saw it last, so I'll go with how you spell it and use the first one. THANK YOU! I can not say how much I love this! ::hugs shiney new icon::

You're very welcome! I'm glad you like it. *g*

And yeah, I haven't heard anyone say anything GOOD about Vista. But out of curiosity I checked the GIMP site and the windows version should run on it. I use GIMP for all my graphics stuff. Mainly because it's free. And does everything that photoshop and all those other expensive programs can do. I love it.

Yah, tried it, and it should work... but Vista is truly, truly evil. I've DLed and installed GIMP four times, and every time it installs just fine, but then freezes when I try to actualy open the program. Last attempt was less then a month ago. I've pretty much given up and am just saving up for Photoshop Elements at this point, which I don't really like, but I know it works on this horrid OS.

Just a quick comment, did you install GTK+ first? It's not always clear from the GIMP site that you need that program in order for GIMP to run.

Vista won't even talk to the GTK+ files. I've tried them six ways from Sunday and they all come back errors no matter what I do. ::sighs:: I may take it to one of my pure-computer-geek friends and beg for help, but at this point, I don't know what else they could try.

Hmmm, looks very cool. And it has a Mac OSX version, so I may give it a try! Thanks for the tip!

Good luck! I used to have it on my rather old mac here at work, and it ran pretty well!
