Deleted Scenes From SGA S4

Grrr. I had watched exactly one ep of S4 on my shiny new DVDs (Adrift. Oh, Rodney! Oh, John!) when our DVD player started making Bad Noises. And then stopped playing. We're off to buy a new one tonight.

In the meanwhile, I watched the deleted scenes on my computer. And made some screencaps. The quality isn't all that great, but there was some seriously adorable stuff going on there and I just couldn't resist.



This scene from "Reunion" definitely went on too long, and cutting it was a good choice, IMHO. But--it was pretty damn cute. No, Rodney, it's not all about you.





John, how can you be so adorably goofy?



And then, it's hard to see clearly, but there's touching. John was totally fondling Rodney's shoulder:





The scene from...Kindred, was it? With Caldwell and John on the Daedalus? Was kind of nice, actually. But I could see how it messed with the pacing of the ep.

But it did have some great John faces, goofy and otherwise:






I find this angle particularly appealing.

From Miller's Crossing - I thought the scene with John and Ronon was way too cutesy and meta-y, but John and his bag of Doritios were pretty darn entertaining:








Open-collared shirts are always a Good Thing.

The later scene with the Mensa bit was sort of cute. Yes, we all believe John could have been mensa!


John was too much in the dark for me to get a good cap, but Rodney was looking mighty fine, as always.

Aside from the Doritos scene (which I loved) the cut opening scene from Miller's Crossing with the turtles was fantastic! Plus, John grabbing Rodney's bag and they were all about TEAM LOVE...so much joy :D

Yes! That was a great scene, I'm sorry they had to cut it. Too much moving around to get proper caps, unfortunately. At least for me. But it warmed my heart to see it. *g*

You're very welcome! The deleted scenes were a nice addition, along with the bloopers. I didn't buy the DVDs last year, and I'm regretting it now because it's so nice to be able to pop them in and have them playing in the background while I'm doing other stuff.

I have been enjoying the deleted scenes and the bloopers WAY too much! I agree, I thought John and Caldwell's scene was great as a coming together so to speak, but it would have dragged the ep. And I'm glad they left out the scene with John and Ronon, but so glad they included it on the DVD, John reactions and his 'thing' with the Doritos bag was too cute. I actually liked the Mensa scene - oh Rodney's expressions -

It was really interesting to see the deleted scenes and to get the commentary from on why they were left out. It's a shame that so many of them were fun character moments. Like the Mensa one. John was so adorable, and Rodney making those faces, so cute!
