Random, not totally coherent bits of happiness:

Badass Castiel makes me feel funny. In my panties.

Zachariah is an awesome villain. Sammy's lungs? Stomach cancer? Man, you are just all kinds of evil. Satan's looking pretty damn warm and fuzzy right now.

Dean. ::sighs:: Oh, Dean, I would hug you and make it all better if I could. And you too, Sam. It wasn't your fault, honest. Well, it kind of was, but still. Just...listen to your brother next time, okay?

Dean doing the blood spell thing to get rid of Zachariah is really hot. Inexplicably hot. (Learned from his friend, Cas.)

By the way, Dean, I figured out that wasn't Bobby in about two seconds. Shame on you!

The actor playing Jacob Nick is excellent, and I love the way his story played out. Satan being all kinds of wily and scheming.

Dean = Michael's sword? A vessel? Interesting. I can't wait to see how that's going to play out.

Dean's awesome bravo in the hospital with Bobby. Oh, Dean. And Sam falling for it completely. I loved the dynamic between them in this ep. He was such a little brother, you know?

And, in conclusion, the Prophet Chuck totally rocks.

Oh, yes. It adds so much understanding to the place Dean is right now, because, had he been on his right mind, he would have seen that it couldn't possibly be Bobby who cut Sam off and suggested that John was right about his last order to Dean. Oh, Dean.

I need to rewatch, possibly very slowly. Such a chore!

That's a good point about Dean. He's a wreck right now, and Bobby has always been kind of a pillar of strength for him so yeah, I can see him not catching on right away.

Badass Castiel was a long time coming. Dear Dean gave him purpose and whoever put him back together gave him the chance to fight like he means it! I knew deep dow inside he'd be the one to stand firmly in God's court (though I'm betting Anna is around somewhere as I think she's the one who last had the angel-killing blade.)

I loved that last scene between Dean and Sam. Dean wasn't upset at Sam letting Lucifer free so much as he was upset at the lack of faith Sam had in Dean and at the lying. I was so sad for both of them. I know they can work it out and I'm looking forward to what the new dynamic will be, because Dean is right, they can't go back to the way it was.

I'm hoping we see Anna again! She seems to be the one who Knows Things. Important things. I'll bet Castiel has been spending some time with her.

The last scene with Sam and Dean was excellent. It hit so many realistic notes, how hard it can be to forgive someone when you want to but you're still hurt by what they did. Their faces, oh, they broke my heart! But they're talking. And they're together. They can't go back to the way it was, but I think they'll find their way to something better.

I was totally shocked, shocked, I tell you, when Bobby turned out to be possessed! Seriously, a dozen flies could have landed in my mouth.

I wasn't sure about Jacob Nick, but I think he's going to be awesome! There is such vulnerability there. :D

They have a lot to fix. I can't wait to see how it all plays out.

Prophet Chuck does totally rock. I adore him (biggest Mary Sue on the 'net) *g*

The ending was very owie. But I was glad that Dean talked, no matter how hard it was, especially for Sam to hear it, it needed to be said. At least he knows where Dean is at right now.

Oh, yay! I'm so glad there was happiness for you in this ep. That makes *me* happy. :D I was totally impressed, too, by the inventiveness in disappearing lungs and stage four cancer. That was downright gasp-worthy. As was Dean continuing to say no.

I loved Dean's determination not to give in to Zachariah. There's no doubt, no hesitation. Now that's our Dean! (Not that hurty Dean from last season wasn't awesome, too)
