thegrrrl2002: (poor hurty Dean)
[personal profile] thegrrrl2002

LOVED IT. War - good god, y'all!

In particular:

The sigil on the x-ray. I found myself wondering all week long what the sigils looked like. was it small, just on one rib? Or was it a large pattern spread out over several ribs? (Why yes, I do spend much time contemplating the boy's chests). So I was tickled beyond belief when Dean pulled that x-ray out. That was some serious sigiling. (BTW, how did Dean manage to convince them to take the X-ray?)

Castiel. Being fierce. Looking for god. But not in a flatbread. All up in Dean's space. Demanding the necklace. And Dean's reluctance to hand it over. Aw!

I loved Dean dismissing the idea of god helping them. And not just because it made Castiel all pissed. But that was definitely a bonus.

Bobby! Growly, angry Bobby! Okay, by the end of this season he'd better be up and dancing the can-can. That's all I'm saying.

Ellen! Ellen! Rufus! Jo! It filled me with glee to see them. Then I spent the next forty minutes wondering which one was going to die. Very sly of you, show, for it to be none of them. But it was kind of hard to breathe during it all.

Sam, tempted by the blood. You know, I was wondering why we didn't get that cool glowy effect when Sam stabbed them. How come Sam didn't notice? Anyway, poor Sam, so torn and upset. It was a well-played moment, and I'm glad that the subject of his addiction hasn't been forgotten. Oh, and him shoving Dean? Will never not be hot.

I love that the show messed with my head. I couldn't figure out why Jo's eyes were black but she was cursing at a demon inside Ellen. I rewound, thinking I missed something. Clever! I like clever.

War. Awesome actor, awesome character. I hope we see him again. I thought they disposed of him a little too easily, but then again, he's not a fighter, he's a behind-the-scenes kind of guy. What is he, anyway? Not an angel, or a demon, right? Is "horsemen" a specific breed?

The ending scene. Such gorgeous scenery. Such a hurty moment. I was honestly surprised at the ending. I didn't think they'd split up. Sam's face when Dean agreed with him - I just wanted to hug them both. I don't like them being separated, although I can understand why they might think they need it at this point.

Gah. Is it next week yet?

Oh, this was such a hurty episode. It was great, but I really think maybe I should buy stock in Kleenex, ya know? I like how worked up the episode got me. I'm really wrapped up in Kripke's world.

I was so happy to see Jo and Ellen and Rufus (and bonus for none of them dying!) and War was awesome, too. The whole episode was awesome, even if I spent most of it crying like a baby, while my hubby teased me about it.

In conclusion, oh show, don't even change, unless it's for bringing the boys back together. *squishes them*

Gah. Is it next week yet?
I wish!

I think it wasn't super hurty for me because a)secondary characters didn't die! and b) I didn't expect the splitting up at the end. And when they did break apart, I was all 'okay, so, two episodes and they're back?

For me it helps that they are talking. All the secrets from last season are out in the open now. When they're all closed off to each other, it's almost as if they're alone, even when they're together.

But still, I hated seeing Dean sitting there all by himself. ::sniffles::

Nobody seems to like it, but I do, and I like Castiel'r reaction to it. I like because it's a nice segue from 4.02 and Dean and Castiel differences. I love that Dean's still so jaded about it all and that Castiel can't and will not let go of his faith in God.

The ending scene. Such gorgeous scenery. Such a hurty moment.

Oh, boys. I wasn't spoiled but I was expecting something like this to happen. It feels right at this moment and also a step toward healing.

If Dean was all "okay, let's find God" I would be wondering where they hid the real Dean. Dean's pretty fed up with everyone, angels and demons alike. He's been played by both sides. Faith in god? I'm thinkin' pretty much NO.

I do, too. It's a welcome change, from having anvils hit us in the face. Not that I mind the anvils. I'm just happy to go uninjured for a week! *g*

Hee! It's certainly an anvilish kind of show. Which is why I totally didn't expect the trickiness! *g*

I was so sure the pregnant woman was going to die! The whole episode was just one huge what-this-one-didn't-die-either? surprise. :D

I love that Dean and Castiel remain on opposite sides about the whole God thing. Bonus in that I find feisty Castiel very sexy. Go Cas!!

I was sad about the end but still remain happy that they didn't make the resolution between the brothers too easy.

I loved War and I can't wait to see what we get with the other horsemen.

That X-ray rocked! All he had to do was sign a release and probably pay a fee, but the picture is his, so he can have it if he wants. *g* I figured it'd be something small, so when we got to see it, I thought it was fabulous. :D

They explained the amulet! I love that! As I did Dean's reluctance to give it up. And then at the end? When Dean offered Sam the Impala? That made my heart hurty, cuz Dean had already lost Sam and the amulet, so losing the Impala was letting go of the last thing he cared about. ::lip quivers:: I kept expecting him to call Sam back. :(

War! Riding a red Mustang! How sweet it is. :D

C'mon next week!

Yes. Everything you said.

I really hope one of the "horsemen" is a woman. War was so badass in Gaiman and Pratchett's "Good Omens".
