Parts of this ep were probably okay, but I've never really gotten over Pamela's completely gratuitous and pointless death, so I am really pissed about Ellen and Jo's. Not broken hearted or sad, just pissed at a show that kills off cool women because the writers are so lame that they can't create drama any other way. Oh, wait, yes they can, when they put some effort into it, but apparently it's just easier to kill off my favorite female characters.
Okay, after thinking really hard, I can come up with some good parts - Crowley was cool, and I like the idea that not all demons are thrilled about Lucifer's rising. Castiel's scenes were wonderful and very effective. As was the town full of reapers. Creepy. I enjoyed Sam confronting Lucifer, and Lucifer being a little more off-kilter than when we've seen him previously. And, of course, another horsemen. Finally.
I am still looking forward to the second half of the season, but...just not really excited about it anymore.
