First of all, my mind is in a jumble from the sheer hotness of Castiel. I wish he had more screen time, I was disappointed that he wasn't around for the fight but then again maybe it's just as well because I'd overdose and then be useless for DAYS.
Anyway...oh, Sammy! You made me get all sniffly. When you were standing their at John and Mary's door and Dean was talking and you were just all teary-eyed and silent, god, that was one of the most perfect moments in all of SPN history. It was beautifully played, so honest and gut-wrenching. As was Dean, later in the ep, telling Mary (who is awesome beyond belief) that he's her son. That scene broke my heart, them having to tell Mary that she's doomed and her sons are cursed. It actually made me happy when Michael said he'd erase their memory of all this, because I don't know how anyone could live with that kind of knowledge.
And Michael! We finally meet Michael! In John's body, of all people. Micheal is a Good Son. And loves his brother Lucifer, even though he has to kill him. Awesome scene.
And while I'm on the subject of awesomeness, I really did love that Dean told Castiel that Anna wanted to meet him, and Cas made them stay home. Dean trusts Cas more than Anna. I like that.
Go Team Free Will!!

Yes, in a very sad way. At least they get 10 years of happiness considering they can't excape what happens later. :(
CASTIEL WAS SO BADASS and I too am sad that he wasn't in for much of the episode. And of course Dean trusts Castiel more than Anna - especially after the heavenly re-education programm.
I loved this episode this much.

Date: 2010-02-05 08:40 pm (UTC)Poor Mary. She is so awesome. It's amazing what they've done with a character we initially saw for just a few minutes on screen in the pilot, isn't it? Wow.

And the EYE SEX. Like whoa.

Date: 2010-02-05 11:33 pm (UTC)This? Is what I loved the most last night. As much as I loved Michael arrival (finally! and awesomely!) and loved fainty Castiel and the confrontation between Castiel and Anna and his attempt to lie to Sam (there was so much to love but I should stop), I absolutely adored the implied trust that Dean has for Cas, apparently no matter what.
I love Cas. He's irresistible, even as the unconscious member of Team Free Will!
