Castiel from 5.17 & 5.18 - a mindless picspam of squee

Along with Dean and Sam being awesome, and the story line being awesome, and being in a constant state of flail over upcoming eps, I find myself becoming rather obsessed with Castiel and his awesomeness.


Bender Castiel. Just look at the way he's sitting there. With the cheeks. And the book. In the happenin' motel room with the leather embossed couch and field of daisies wallpaper.


Aw. Face!


It's funnier in Enochian. Oh, Cas, it always is, isn't it? (on a side note, are Cas' shirt cuffs unbuttoned? Sadly, such things have become fascinating to me.)


Poor pained Cas. Drinking a liquor store never makes things better. But sometimes it's the only thing you can do. Next time try a night of debauchery with Dean. I'm quite sure you would have a much better time.


"Point of No Return" Castiel. The episode of smoldering.


He's so not happy with Dean.


MC never lets us forget that Castiel isn't quite human. And on a random note, I love the way he left papers fluttering in his wake every time he left Bobby's.


While I did not like watching Castiel beat on Dean, I like what it said about Castiel's state of mind. And how the anger ebbs away at the end of the scene.


But still, he has no faith in Dean left. That just breaks my heart. There had better be a good, juicy scene coming up between the two of them.


Last but not least - Striptease!Cas. Woo baby! My favorite. Dean's too, apparently.

I'm with you. I love Cas, and I think that Collins does a fabulous job making us care about Castiel, and making him not human at the same time. It's a fine piece of acting.

It really really hurts how much faith Cas has lost, not just in God, but in Dean. I hope they get it back. They need each other.

I DVR the eps so I don't have to deal with commercials - tried watching live a few times (so impatient) but the commercial, gah, they make me crazy!!!

Ah, but, you know, he actually didn't say he has no faith in Dean left. He merely said he doesn't have the same kind of faith in Dean that Sam has. So, I'm fanwanking this to reading it as "Not the same adoring faith I had before, but faith to realise that I'm giving up everything for you, WInchester idiot, so make the right decision, and don't you dare disappoint me."

I am SO all about Cas these days, ever since his God abandoned him. Yeah, the Winchesters have it rough, and damn, but it sucks to be Dean. But Cas got BROKEN and he's still in there fighting. *hearts him like mad*

Oh, thanks! It may be just what I need to get back to watching SPN.

The whole "Hopeless Castiel" is making me so depressed, and seeing that everyone else thinks the same thing and is hoping for some relief just like I am makes everything better somehow.

I just couldn't bring myself to watch the latest two eps. I used to find Castiel so awesome that seeing him this broken (and at the same time seeing Dean this broken) is just more than I can bear. *sigh*

Will it get better?
