I need to watch on DVR rather than watching it live because the commercial breaks MAKE ME CRAZY. But it's so hard to wait. Fortunately, we have our pup training class that night, so we tend get home around 8:30. It's a good distraction.

HEE! I do the same thing on the nights when I'm home! I give it about a 20 minute head start then settle in. :D

I managed to get my lead tech addicted. We both wanted the night off, but it didn't work out, so I gave it to her. Yesterday, she offered to work it so we could get off work at the same time, come over to my house, and watch it together. ::bounce:: It's soooo much better having someone there to point and squee with!

I'm so, so nervous! Damn Kripke. *g*

I've never participated in a Big (or mini) Bang. How does it work? Do you get a prompt or do you chose it yourself?
(In other words: Hi, I'm not only scared but also unknowledgeable.)

I've never done one either! All I know about it is from the FAQ from the comm - it doesn't mention anything about prompts, so maybe there aren't any?

I'll admit the mini-bang tempted me at well -- 10K is doable. But while I've watched Supernatural from the beginning, I have not yet written fic. My Dean/Castiel obsession is shiny and new and makes me want to be reckless and do crazy thing like sign-up for challenges that would normally scare the hell out of me. Perhaps I'll see how the finale goes before I go too crazy. *wibbles*

Big Bang is way too many words for me, but I'm very tickled that there is a mini-bang. Much more my speed. *g*

I don't know if I'm signing up yet. I'm still working on my spn_j2_bigbang art, which is due mid-June. Then we're moving at the end of July, which means packing has first priority ;/. But if we're well settled in August, I might sign up.

The Artist sign up is open until the big bang claims, so I still have a chance if I have enough time then. I definitely won't be signing up for the mini-bang, though. It's too early. But I find it very cool that you're considering it.
