Writing!

I have written a thousand words on my Dean/Cas mini-bang fic today. Yays! It's been so long since I've been able to write without struggling for every word. Granted, what I wrote this morning will certainly need cleaning up, but it feels good to have words to clean up again.

I've been seeing lots of meta on the season finale of SPN, and yet every time I try and read lovely thoughtful thoughts on it, all I can think is GOSH, CAS PRETTY. My brain is totally in a fanon place and canon is way behind in second place.

In other news, I'm still working my way through my S2 re-watch. Saw "Hunted" yesterday. Oh Ava, you were so awesome. And Gordon, you rock my world with your quiet, creepy ways.

I have the same problem, except I'm still at the stage where I think "Ok self, time to get cracking on that fic. Let's just google "Rent Boy Angel" and...oh dear...I'll be in my bunk"

First time I read this, my brain dropped the word fic from the first sentence: Dean/Cas mini-bang today. And I thought, that sounds like a good idea. Big-bang tomorrow? *g*

You know, now that you mention the re-watch: I think I'll get back to season two, as well. Gordon, Ava, Andy (!!) -- all good!

When I'm not writing, I feel like I may never ever have words again. Scary!

S2 is full of the awesome. Andy! I forgot how much I adored Andy until I rewatched his ep. Most adorable slacker ever. *g*

It's fun to watch when the stress of OMG WHAT'S HAPPENING is no longer there. I find myself enjoying it much more when I'm not so worried about what's going to happen at the end.

S2 had so many fantastic characters. That was the first time we met the trickster - I'm still grinning when I think of that episode. Alien slow-dancing :)

I'm having the same experience! I also have the feeling that I get a better sense for the story's rhythm when I watch the episodes back to back. That's probably what pulled me in in the first place: I came to fandom late so I started watching the show on DVD. I think I spent about a month watching SPN episodes every night!

Hee! Tall Tales is an absolute favorite. Sam and Dean fighting over stupid shit the whole time, they're just adorable! Along with the slow-dancing alien.

I started watching in the middle of S2, so I did get to mainline the first season and a half on DVD. I watched S2 first, which confused me a bit in regards to papa Winchester. But it was still a whole lot of fun - I was working at home most of the time so I would take many, many breaks.

When I watched Tall Tales with eretria this weekend she said Sam was like an octopus: All he has to do is wrap his arms and legs around Dean and wham. Dean's immobilized.

Ah, I remember how it was looking forward to two or three episodes each evening. Nothing better than a shiny new fandom!!
