It's hot hot hot with eleven billionty percent humidity out there, and I stopped at Kohl's to see if I could snag a swimsuit on clearance but all they had were fall clothes. Like I would touch a sweater right now. Ew!

Silly grrrl -- why ever would you think you could buy a swimsuit in early August? You buy swimsuits in February when it's 40 degrees outside. You buy wool sweaters in August when it's 100 degrees outside. ARRRGH!! I hate merchandising and its 3-months-off-the-actual-calendar wicked ways! Even here at the beach in California all of the department stores have the heavier back-to-school clothes out...

I know, so crazy of me to think of buying a swimsuit right now! Right at the time I might actually need to wear one!

But hey, that heavy wool coat looks pretty good. I might wear it home.

This is the big issue with August. They always have winter clothes on sale. You can imagine how ludicrous this is in Florida - where it won't get cold enough for a jacket until at least December. (sigh)

I can't believe they do this in Florida too! That's just crazy.

Yeah, I'm with you on that. It's like when we had snow up to our arses this past winter, but if you went looking for snow boots in February, all you could find were sandals. WTF?

Oh god yes, I discovered that two years ago in Feb when my winter boots fell apart. I thought I'd never find a new pair! It was just nuts.

I'm having the same issues. I even ordered some suits from a catalog, but they sent me the wrong items, damn them. And I don't have time to re-order.

Stoopid fashion industry.

Gah, that's maddening! I was thinking of checking out the catalogs. Although swimsuits are so tricky when it comes to fitting properly. And containing the boobs. They definitely need containment.

I got my suit from E-bay. But that was mostly because the stores wanted ridiculous amounts of money for plus sized suits.

I wish I could do that--I always have to try the damn things on. The sizes are always kind of weird. ::sighs::
