CUTE DANNY. \o/ And yeah, I'm thinking that the sofa is his bed - they've snazzed it up a bit (changed it to a set) since the pilot, but it's still pretty tiny.

I think it only fair that every cast member has to do one scene in their underwear. Bonus point points if they're all in the same scene together in their underwear. It would be their most popular ep EVER.

So where does Gracie sleep when she stays with Danny, then?

And another very important question - is Steve's house on the beach? Was that a little lagoon or something back there in that ep with Catherine, where he was grilling steaks on the beach?

Steve's house is on the water, but not sure if there's actually a beach. They show it in flyover shots, like in the pilot when he first goes to the house.

In the pilot, when Danny and Steve are talking in Danny's apt, it looks like there are two rooms behind Danny. I assume one is a bathroom. The other must be a bedroom. Maybe it's Grace's room.

I just looked at 1x08, which is when Gracie's over at his place, and Dolphin Trainer Barbie "got out of bed in the middle of the night to get a glass of water" - so yeah, I think Grace sleeps on the pull out. There's definitely sun coming in from a room behind the main living room - you can see it spilling into the short corridor. There are two other doors in the corridor - one looks like a closet door, and one could be another room. So potentially there's a bedroom as well as a bathroom, who knows?

It was very generous of you to watch that scene again for me. I think it makes sense for Gracie to sleep on the pullout, since Dolphin Trainer Barbie got lost there, and for Danny to have his bedroom down the corridor.

In the pilot, when Steve goes to Danny's place, he sees the bed pulled out & asks about Gracie staying there. So, in my mind, I assumed that Gracie used the pullout & there was a proper bedroom, too.

Steve is obviously an excellent role model & leader. Get that shirt off, Danno! ;)

Okay, I was just watching ep 8 again & the first scene is in Danny's apartment. Gracie has lost her doll, & Danny finds it under the pull-out bed. Grace's toys are in that living room & so I'd guess that she sleeps there when she stays over & Danny has the one actual bedroom.
That's my guess, anyway. *g*

I think Danny moved - if you compare the pilot with later shots of his apartment, there are differences. However, they never said that, so it's still unconfirmed.

And as everyone else says, yeah - the McGarrett house has a beach access.

I for one would like to have a scene where Danny gets all wet and dirtied and he has to take off the shirt. Steve gets him that backup tee he has in his desk so Danny doesn't have to run around naked, though. Yet, Steve takes his time, since he rarely gets to see all that chest hair Danny has. That man is a teddy bear with his 1.65m.
