Thunder snow. Always a little unnerving.

I have no idea how much snow is out there, it's blowing up, down, and sideways. Kind of cool, from inside where it's warm and dry.

This morning I had a bird bath in my back garden, a nice big thing on a pillar. Now it's gone, completely swallowed by an ocean of snow.

I'm half expecting not to be able to open my doors tomorrow.

That's a whole lot of snow! Our balcony is filled waist-high, those sliders aren't opening until springtime. And the wind is hoooowling...so spooky!

You know, Hawaii seems really, really appealing right now. Even with the danger of falling coconuts.

Local here - the storm will be over, but with all the cancellations of the past two days, there will be delays like you wouldn't believe. Check your carrier information before heading out to the airport.

It may be delayed because of the backup in flights, but it looks like the weather will be all clear there by Thursday.

We just spent 45 minutes out there this morning with The Dog Who Wouldn't Poop. It was all just too exciting for her, the silly girl! But it was fun, great big snowdrifts to plow through and all that. *g*

Hee! I loved that vid so very much. Bang doesn't like the deep snow at all, though. She keeps to the cleared areas, and tries to leap over drifts. Yanking me all over the place. Owie!

Believe me, I am thinking Hawaiian thoughts! Palm trees and surf and sand, I could go for some of that right now.

Instead of wandering around in the snow for 45 minutes waiting for a certain dog to do her business. She was just too excited by it all to even think about such a mundane task!
