It doesn't seem like she's madly in love with him, but just having a good time with someone she likes. When Steve finally figures out what's going on between him and Danny, she'll find another hot guy to have lots of fun sex with, and maybe he won't burn the steaks, you know? Or get her in trouble by asking her to use top secret military tracking satellites to find suspects.
3. Catherine/her military career. Because she's clearly smart and very good at what she does.
4. Hmmm...not sure if I have one, except maybe that I like her and Steve together? So much pretty in one place!
5. A threesome with Danny and Steve. Because that could happen in canon, right?

3. Dean/Jo. Because Dean can't pull any of his moves on her. I thought they had a really good connection to each other.
4. That Jo is brought back to life. Since the guys manage to get killed and brought back to life numerous times, I don't see why she can't be. ::grumbles::

Date: 2011-04-25 03:50 pm (UTC)2. Danny Danny Danny Danny and Danny. :D He adores Danny, but what's more, Steve seems to truly respect him, as a cop, as a partner, and as a father. Also, HE HAS FEELINGS. Which he will eventually figure out.
3. My non-romantic OTP for Steve is Steve/Team. I think they're his family now, and provide a connection that he's never had before.
4. Unpopular opinion...this is always so hard. Hmmm. Okay. I'm just going to go ahead and say it: I think he should let Danny drive once in a while.
5. I really want to know more about his SEAL days, and how it has affected his life and who he is. I hope we get that somewhere down the road.

Date: 2011-04-25 06:11 pm (UTC)WTF does "I worked the other side" mean anyway? Will any of Steve's less psycho!evil SEAL buddies show up and will we see Steve go SEAL-tastic with them? Will Steve get called back to active duty for a " Help us, Commander McGarrett, You're our only hope!" mission?
All great fanfic ideas, but these are things that could and should be brought out in Show canon.

His experiences as a SEAL make him the leader that he is today, and even though they're classified, they should be able to hint or have the situation come up where Steve HAS to talk about it.

Date: 2011-04-25 04:08 pm (UTC)1. Danny is the awesomest, and I love him with the heat of a thousand suns. I fell for him after about a minute of watching the show. He's a funny, sexy, vulnerable, fiercely loyal smartass. Who wears snug button-down shirts very well.
2. Steve! I know that's a big surprise. :D Air hearts aside, I love the chemistry between them. I think in the beginning, they connected on the level of both being kind of lost--Danny stuck in a strange land, and Steve losing his father. I love that they (constantly) call each other out on their crap, and yet will always be there for each other.
3. My non-romantic OTP for Danny is Chin. They're both experienced cops, and I love how easily they work together. But I could easily go with Rachel, too, because I love how they're negotiating a new relationship after what seems to have been a very messy divorce.
4. Unpopular opinion, yikes, these are always so hard....okay here it is: I love NJ as much as he does. :D
5. I really truly, absolutely need for his parents and sisters to show up. And for Steve to meet them.

3. My non-romantic OTP for her would be Ronon. I loved her scenes with him in "Echoes"--so fond and affectionate and she seemed so very amused by him. They were absolutely adorable together, and I definitely got a sibling vibe from them rather than a romantic one.
4. I don't know how unpopular this is, but I loved when she disagreed with John. It made sense that she'd approach fighting the wraith much differently than someone from earth would. I wish we had seen more of that.
5. There are a zillion things I wish could have happened with Teyla. It all boils down to wishing the character was written better, with more depth (although I think RL did amazing things with what little she given to work with). I wanted to see her actually being the leader of her people, I wanted her to be more than just a bad ass stick fighter in 99% of the eps, I wanted her knowledge of the Wraith and the Pegasus galaxy to actually be sought out by the military, I wanted to know what she thought of a earth societies, gah, so much that could have been explored!

All flavors of Cas, from naive 'god has plans for you' Cas, to confused cut-off-from-heaven Cas, to cranky bitchy disillusioned Cas, to bad ass resurrected Cas, to "I've done regrettable things" Cas. The only thing I don't love about Cas is that there's NEVER ENOUGH CAS.
2. Um, Dean. :D They have a profound bond. I think Cas is utterly fascinated by Dean.
3. Non-romantic OTP: Balthazar. Balthazar is Cas's wild and wacky friend, and Cas secretly wishes he could let loose a little and be like that, too. Plus, Balthazar seems to be quite loyal to Cas, which is a surprise because aside from Cas, most angels seem to be loyal only to themselves.
4. Unpopular fannish opinion--I can't rewatch "The End" because fallen druggie Cas made me very sad. Not that I would hate it if Cas fell, it was just that particular situation.
5. Other than him and Dean making out? I think I'd like to know more about what it was like to rescue Dean from hell.

That's the perfect way to put it. Cas admires Dean, even with all of his faults. It's fascinating to watch. I'd love to know what Misha truly thinks Cas is thinking about Dean when he gets into his Cas headspace.

The Cas-version that launched 1000 fics. It's weird, but for me, this episode more than any other, showed how very not-human Cas is (or was). The differences in his body language and speech and his despair say it all. Very sad but oh so very interesting. (and still he stayed loyal to Dean!)
I wish they had the money to show Cas's rescue of Dean. It would be so cool and he'd be so bad ass.

3. Rodney. I loved how competitive they were, and I loved when we did actually see moments of friendship and support between them.
4.I think he really liked working with Rodney, because Rodney is the only one who could find his mistakes.
5. That he ended up with a super-smart sexy girlfriend. :D

2. As you said, she's too young for shipping, but when she gets older, I'm pretty sure she ends up dating guys who are just like her Dad.
3. Non-romantic OTP? I'd like to think it's Steve. I'm positive he'd get a mani-pedi with her. Much to Danny's dismay.
4. Hmmm. Not that I want her to be unhappy, but I want her to give StepStan a bit of a hard time. She's a little too perfect right now. Like maybe she's trying too hard to please everyone. Time for her to act out a bit.
5. I want to see some fall-out from the divorce and the move. Especially since it seems to have been a rather antagonistic divorce. I'm sure they tried to shelter her from it, but kids always know what's going on.

2. I shipped him with Reed for a long time--they had such great chemistry together. I remember being so frustrated when they stopped having scenes together--or at least it felt like they did. I could never get on board with his romance with T'Pol.
3. Non-romantic OTP--Jonathan Archer. Even though I wrote some Archer/Tucker, I also loved their friendship.
4. Unpopular opinion...hmmmm. I loved his accent. Was that unpopular at the time?
5. I wish the writers hadn't gone the Tucker/T'Pol route. Tucker had chemistry with EVERYONE, but the two of them just seemed to fall flat.

5. I wish we could have seen more of her backstory. And that she could have gotten out of her deal with the crossroads demon.
