Danny Williams, how are you so completely delicous?

I was rewatching Powa Maka Moana this morning, (as one does since it's Monday, work is making me crazy and I need a little Steve and Danny) and I have decided that the pawn shop scene just might be my favorite Danny scene of all time. He's utterly adorable, especially when Steve comes back from the car with the grenade:

A grenade. He has a grenade. Why do you have a grenade? He has a grenade. You see this? He's not bluffing, he'll pull the pin and blow everybody up. Please open the door.






Oh, Danny. (And Steve, with that I'm-gonna-blow-something-up face, you're pretty damn adorable, too.)

There are so many great Danny moments. I do really love the one where they're holding the gun on the guy who has the hostage on the edge of the cliff, and he starts arguing with Steve. Cracks me up every time.

They're so ridiculously cute. And Danny's so...animated. :D Love the look on his face when Steve pulls the pin.

It's so hysterical, because he didn't *actually* think that Steve would do it! And then he's, like, "You're not bluffing?"

I also love the moment right *after* the explosion, when he walks back inside and tells the guy, "This could've been avoided."

I also love when he takes down the guy who kidnapped Mary so that Steve can examine his teeth. (Right after "Walk ::demonstrates:: up the stairs. Like a human being." Which I also love.

I pretty much love all of the moments when Steve and Danny are working together like a well-oiled machine. I inevitably want to throw both of them down on the nearest horizontal surface and have my way with them.

It's adorable that Danny still thought Steve would bluff about something. Especially about blowing something up. I think he knows better now. :D

This could've been avoided.

I also love the "Walk. Up the stairs." Especially with the demonstration. The miming of the actions he does just slay me every time.

And I totally agree about the er, well-oiled part. :D

OMG, that is maybe my favorite scene of all time. It never ever fails to make me smile and even laugh out loud.

My other favorite Danny moment was the time Steve kicks in the hotel room door:

"Whoa whoa whoa! What are you doing?"

"Probable cause. I thought we were just doing a thing?"

"A th---I meant we would get a key from the manager, you Neanderthal animal!"

"Well now we don't need it."

"Just go."

That scene is so awesome, especially the way Danny says "Neanderthal animal" with such obvious relish. He loves calling Steve that. :D

And Steve, looking so confused, because he thought he had the situation all figured out. Hee!

I think the argument in the car about New Jersey is a perfect Danny-with-Steve moment. Oh my god, talk about activating each other :D :D :D

But for pure, pure, omg Daaaaanny-ness? That whole speech he makes about Grace into the intercom at Rachel's house, finishing with a plea to please, please, be kind. KILLS ME.

I love when he smashes his badge on the housing authority dude's forehead. I love whenever he's being silly with Grace. I love when he gets indignant with Steve. So they are pretty much all my favorite moments? *flail*

I love the tsunami episode when Steve is all, "be quiet and let the grown-ups think." And Danny is all EXCUSE ME WHAT DID YOU SAY?! :D

All of his scenes with Grace make me go melty. And I love just hearing him say "Mr. Hoppy". And the tsunami ep had so many good Steve/Danny moments! Especially when Danny gets all indignant. So cute!

Saw James Caan on a talk show last week and was blown away by how much Scott resembles him, not just looks, but mannerisms, the way they speak, etc. Very cool.

I couldn't pick out a fave Danny moment.... yes I can. Him on the hillside, looking up at an injured Steve being carried away by the rescue helicopter, mouthing "I love you" and making the heart sign with his hands. OMG...

The very fact that he mouthed 'I love you' as he was signing was definitely the cherry on top! The first time I saw it I had to rewind just to make sure I really saw what I saw. :D So. Awesome.

And I love the similarities between SC and his Dad, too!

"The View" here in the US. He and Keanu Reeves were talking about some movie they're both in. This I believe is the second part of the interview, originally aired in April. I must have seen it as a repeat, because it was on only a week or two ago.

I think the grenade moment might be my favourite. Although there is also the one in 1.08 with whoever on the car and Steve is SO PROUD of his little Danno. Because just, yes, but that could be more of a Steve moment, I admit. Ughvfjskl the interphone scene. I die.

That is flat out my favorite comedic scene between the boys. Danny miming pirates, his and steve's facial expressions, him telling Big Lono petulantly after everything's blown up, "this could've been avoided."

My favorite over the top romanic moment is the air heart, because come on.

My favorite carguement is the one where he sings, "you can't save everybody," because I love him calling Steve out on his big, melty heart almost as much as I like Steve's big, melty heart.

My favorite Danny line is still from the Pilot at the very end when he's cuffing the guy on the ground who's still struggling and Danny stands up and says, "Where are you trying to go?"

My favorite Danny & Kono moment is when she's awesome at sexting and he's baffled and then impressed.

My favorite Danny & Chin moment is when they're at the bar after Danny storms out on the team and they swear to have each other's backs.

My favorite Danny and Grace moment is his whole speech to Rachel's intercom and then the huge hug and his adorableness when she says she wants a pink football.

My favorite badass Danny moment is when he slams his badge against the Housing Commissioner's forehead and says his name is Detective Williams.

Is it apparent that I've thought about Danny quite a bit? :)

I love the scene in that episode where Danny is stretching out while they're waiting for Kamekona and Steve keeps watching his ass and makes comments about Danny doing the Downward Dog.

I also love the whole scene with them dressed up as high rollers from episode 4. :D

I do love that scene from 104, too. Especially the one in your icon, with them in the car, and the way Danny turns around and looks, so wistfully, as Steve drives off. And Steve looks so proud of himself!

This might be my fave too. Because he's in the background making with the "prayer hands" and pleading with big pawnshop dude to stop the insanity before it escalates.

Is this the ep that starts on the Marquis ride/date? If so...yet another lovely Danny moment right there.

Everything Danny does in that scene is golden, I swear. I'm grinning just thinking about it.

And yes, that's the episode that starts with the Marquis. Danny being all ranty! With the second button undone on his shirt! And Steve pointing out that Danny is temperamental too, just like his car. So much love! :D

I fell in love with Danno in the pilot with this exchange (snagged from tumblr just this morning): OK, come to think of it, Steve's "this conversation started last year" remark endeared him to me forever. But Danny's "unspoken glue", jackals and hyenas, the fact that there are rules for apologizing when you get someone shot, and then finishing up with "acceptance is pending"----I knew right then after that scene that I adored Danny. And also Scott, who I had had grave misgivings about his casting. Oh, silly me!

Steve: I think I might know why your wife left you.
Danny: Really?
Steve: Yeah, you’re very sensitive.
Danny: I’m sensitive, huh?
Steve: Yeah.
Danny: You think I’m sensitive?
Steve: A little bit.
Danny: When did you come to the conclusion that I was sensitive, huh? Was it when a bullet was tearing through my flesh? Is that when I seemed sensitive to you, huh? I am really happy you are not afraid of anything, okay? I’m glad you have that GI Joe thousand-yard stare from chasing shoe bombers around the world, okay? I loved seeing him defending her and getting all caveman, I love him being sweet as ever,... It shows his devotion to his daughter and it's so beautiful!

That's one of my favorite rants! I love the way Danny emphasizes "APOLOGIZE".

And his scenes with Grace are just wonderful. There's so much warm and love in his eyes.
