I'm back!

We have survived another holiday! We're back from visiting the family. We had a wonderful time and now I miss everyone terribly, even though I'm glad to be back home again. I think I consumed my weight in Christmas cookies over the past week. Yikes! All in all it was actually a pretty relaxing week, hanging out with my sisters, doing a little shopping, eating lots of food. And then it was time for Christmas and Christmas Eve, both of which were enjoyably hectic.

And then I came home to my h50_holidayswap fic! It was adorable and happy and heart-warming and I love it very very much. Check it out:

Thank you! We had a whole lot of fun indeed! And way too much food. It's always a shock to the system to come back and try to eat properly. I'm still looking for my pre-dinner snack. :D

Hahaha! Unfortunately, I somehow managed to bring home a plate of said cookies, another of mince pies, and a whole christmas cake! So there'll be no return to normal food in our house just yet. IDEK how that happened! :D

Hee! Yay for cakes, cookies and pies! We headed out with a big container of cookies and a big dish of antipasto, but they're gone after our day and half drive. It's going to take me a long time to come down from my sugar and salty fat high. :D
