A beautiful day in the neighborhood

It's gorgeous out, just gorgeous. Warmest day of the year so far, and sunny. We are celebrating by cleaning the damn apartment. It's been a rough couple of weeks, and the place is trashed. Seems there's a pretty decent place underneath all this mess. Who would have thought it?
I also have more dirty laundry than clean clothes. ::sigh::
Since I've been asking questions, it's only right that I post this here: Ask me three questions--anything--and I will answer. Then copy it to your own LJ and let it spread.

3. Ritz or Saltines?

Date: 2004-04-17 12:14 pm (UTC)1. All over. That's the best I can come up with. Because I feel it in my heart and in my toes, and in my brain, too. And the fingertips. Can't forget the fingertips.
2. Ask "Who the heck are you?" I googled the name, and I'm still confused. So you'll have to explain a little more before I can answer. (Am I embarrassingly out of the loop?)
3. Saltines. (Whew, finally an easy one.) Definitely saltines. Ritz are icky and greasy. Saltines are salty goodness. Especially with chicken soup. Or clam chowder. (both kinds)

I won't hit you again
Date: 2004-04-17 10:35 am (UTC)Remind me again why I live this far north? Because I...just don't get it.
Re: I won't hit you again
Date: 2004-04-17 12:08 pm (UTC)I'll never have one. Never ever. Someday we may buy a condo that will be the size of the little apartment we are now living in, and it will cost three times what your house did.
So living that far north amongst the snow and cold does have some benefits. Of course, our hardship is self-inflicted, because we can't imagine *not* living in the city.
And the daffodils in this area just went into full bloom. Sweet! I love daffodils.
Hope you get a total snow-melt soon.
Three questions for the Grrrl
Date: 2004-04-19 08:50 pm (UTC)2. Which slash pairing do you think would actually work on TV (assuming that show was moved to Showcase or Bravo or HBO or whatever?)
3. Who would you most like to take with you on a trip to Disneyland, and why?
Re: Three questions for the Grrrl
Date: 2004-04-20 06:42 am (UTC)2. Tucker/Reed. I mean, they're halfway there already, aren't they? I think it would work.
3. That's a tough one. I'm not a Disneyland kind of person. And I don't have kids. I think I'd have to rent someone else's kid and take them, so I could see it through their eyes. A nice, quiet, obedient kid. Or kids. Reedfem's kids sound kind of cute, so maybe I'd take them. Only if you come with me, though, because clearly you know how to deal with the kid thing. And I wouldn't want to be outnumbered. Reedfem can come, too, unless she just needs a break from them.

Now where did I put those brochures for Bermuda...
