thegrrrl2002Woo! "Brotherhood"! A cool ep, even if my dl was kind of small and crappy. I could still at least tell that Rodney was definitely pretty in it, John was cute and smirky, and I want to take Zelenka home and snuggle him up.
Okay, so I'm a total spoiler whore when it comes to SGA. I read the new interview with Joe Mallozzi and he confirms some intriguing rumors that I've heard. He says: "A new dynamic on the Atlantis base--as well as Sheppard's team"?
Huh. I kind of like the dynamic the way it is now. Who is not coming back? I've heard they're adding a new recurring character. Why do they need new characters? Don't they know I want the show to be all John and Rodney, all the time? Snarking?While naked? Okay, Zelenka can pop in every now and then for a three-way and be cute and geeky, but really, do we need all those extra people all over the place?
Okay, only kidding. I do like the characters that are there, and mostly, they work well together, particularly the minor characters like Grodin, Zelenka, and Bates. I'm hoping they all come back next season. And I'm hoping that they don't mess with the John and Rodney chemistry, and continue putting them in scenes together.
I'm thinking Atlantis is going to end up with easier access to SGC, somehow, whether it's by ship or by gate, but it won't be easy, so they're still going to be isolated. I'm also wondering if we're going to get some kind of new military leadership there, so Sheppard won't be the ranking officer anymore, that might be very interesting indeed. I think I'd like to see Sheppard getting into some real trouble for his attitude.
And what's this about the Asgard and Atlantis? Is Joe pulling our collective legs?
