This made me go all melty. Kavan Smith, aka Major Lorne, saying thank you to his fans. Sweet boy! Now get naked for us.

(Thank you to [livejournal.com profile] lillyjk for the heads up.)

Grant due tomorrow. Am I reviewing everyone's edits to the workplan? No. Have I done the budget justification? No. Have I even started the upload? No.

Am I already hitting "refresh" on flist? Yes.

In other news, I am having a good hair day today. Very curly. No frizz.

Okay, I'm going to focus and get some work done, and not think at all about the fic that I can't seem to write when the file is open in front of me, but as soon as I start doing something else, it's all I can think about.

Ah, Major Lorne. So cute.

Although, right now he's all, "Oooh, fans, thank you!" But one day, he'll be stalked, groped or just given inappropriate gifts and he'll be singing a different tune. Which amuses me, strangely. I have weird sense of humour, obviously.

But still! Such a cute man. :)

Oh my God, that's the cutest and most gracious thing ever!!

*love*

Always liked Lorne, but now I'm likely to pay even more attention. Kavan Smith seems a great guy.

I'm taking a break already, and I've barely gotten started. If I was any less productive work around here would get UNdone.

He does, doesn't he?

And he's just....awww. I want to pet him.

Well, more like "grope".

on Kavan's message - WOOO!
on the good hair day - when one has curls and is prone to frizz, it isn't just a good hair day, it's an AWESOME hair day :)

Regarding the good hair day... words of advice from someone who shares the same afflictions... On a good day, I look like a cross dressing hobbit. On a bad one... Do Not Go There (finger in a electrical socket springs to mind!)

Don't know if this is sold in America but I swear by the John Frieda 'Frizz-Ease'range. Not cheap but it lasts (a bottle of serum that costs about £5 sterling lasts about 4-6 months) and bigods does it WORK!!

The serum is just amazing. Put on just washed hair, calms even the most mutant frizz (like mine). There are other products that help too (Dream curls is especially useful) but it does what it promises.

Pantene shampoo and conditioner for curly hair (again, I don't know if American stores stock this) is a cheaper brand that works too but is best used with the serum.

Frizz-ease is a miracle worker. That is all.

I've tried their products, but the silicones are just too heavy for my hair--it's almost more wavy than curly, and really, really prone to frizz because of that. Same with the Pantene. My sisters have super curly hair, and love the stuff, though.

I've been using Ouidad products lately, and I just love them.

My biggest realization, though? Do not touch the hair when it's wet. *g* So simple, but it works wonders.

He's so sweeeeet XD and not just his nose emulates J's, look at his wriggling eyebrows.

Since you mentioned it yesterday, I actually kept wondering about your grant proposal today. I realised I had a two year course on how to do that and have no CLUE how to do that.

Awww, how cute! And the *eyebrows*! They talk more than Connor Trinneer's do!

That's a lovely message. Also, hey, way to go on winning over the fans! He seems like a nice guy. And I do like him on the show, he's so funny.
