The atlantisbasics fics have been posted, yay! (most of them, that is). rustler wrote the delicious The Pegasus Galaxy’s Greatest Hits for me--an absolutely lovely John and Rodney genfic. It's her first SGA fic and she captures their voices so perfectly that it makes me want to squeal. It's warm and hopeful and the kind of fic I just want to snuggle with. Be sure to check it out, along with all the other marvelous fics that have been posted!

I'm very tickled that the Sci-fi channel is airing blocks of SGA on Monday nights now. I only managed to catch "Condemned" last night, but I hadn't watched that one in ages, and I really enjoyed seeing it again. Because, of course, dirty and grubby and tied up. Rodney is sizzling hot. Plus John's little smile at Rodney's "call me a romantic" comment. There's got to be a story behind smile, don't you think?

And thanks to bluespirit_star, I've been able to listen to the "Conversion" commentary with Martin Gero, David Hewlett, and Joe Flanigan. Best. Commentary. Ever. They're very entertaining and silly and damn cute.




Ouch. That table is an accident waiting to happen. I'd be bruised every time I walked past it.

I listened to that commentary yesterday, and then listened to it again, it really is one of the best ones ever! Joe is so talkative, some of the things he said cracked me up..about breaking the glass in Elizabeth's office, the ears and the decorations of his room..and how he had the product placement of the skateboard, his favorite kind.

Oh and the table, yeah, my hips and thighs would be so bruised from bumping into that thing!

I love this comm too. It's so great to hear Joe being so animated. He & David seem to have really complementary senses of humour & they work so well with Martin Gero. Hee - loved them teasing Martin 'shouldn't you be in school?'. *g*

Umm, yeah. Ass cleaning? ROFL!! And, "There's some woman on the internet who thinks I'm an elf. . ." *g* Loved the part when Joe was saying that McKay was eating while he was on the radio and even *he* wasn't paying attention to what he was saying. :)

Oooh, you're good, I haven't managed to get both to work at the same time! I usually put the commentaries on my MP3 player, but I can never sync them correctly.

I played the ep on Power DVD player, paused it immediately, minimized, started the commentary in Windows Media player, minimized it, and hit the play button on the DVD player. The sync part did get messed up in the beginning because of the different showe introductions. I just fast forwarded the ep until something distinctive, paused, then hit play again when they mentioned it. *g* /is so proud/ Actually, it was probably a fluke! I doubt I'd ever be able to do it again. *g*

someone i know used to have this slate coffee table that was rather arrow shaped. i think i maimed me every time i walked by it. heh.

Hmm, I love that pic! I keep staring at DH's clothes and I think he's modified a lot of Rodney's uniforms to make himself comfortable. I mean, his clothes always seem very different from the other scientists, not that I'm complaining...

And yes, that is one fugly table and it looks very dangerous.

The commentary is hillarious - I've been listenning to it since Bluespirit put it up. This is the most that I've ever heard Joe speak but it's just hillarious to listen to the men being boys. :) They certainly are cute.

I've noticed they've gone from the Blue Scientist Shirt to the Brown Scientist Shirt to the Hot Sexy T-shirt with Rodney. I'm guessing the cotton t-shirts are a whole lot more comfortable than the others, although I was rather fond of the brown one myself.

I love the commentary, too. I keep listening to it. Joe really is kind of dorky, isn't he? They should like they're twelve during most of it. So cute!
