I thought this episode was hilarious. I love Richard Kind, and it was so much fun watching everyone being so giddy and silly. I'm sure they had a hell of a lot of fun with this one. I know I did. And the Sheppard/McKay love was the icing on the cake. So cute! And the bit they snuck in at the end, oh Rodney, you naughty thing. Don't you know he already is your sex slave?


The episode starts off with the Dancing Hewlett Fingers. I could watching him describe the gate bridge thingy over and over again, you know?



It also starts off with ridiculously cute John.


And Rodney waiting for Teyla to bitch-slap Lucius.


Apparently hair commentary is just not appreciated.


Aw, Carson, you made me love you with the ep. PM slayed me with the funny.


And now everyone is smitten. Elizabeth is very pretty when smitten.


As is Teyla, too.


Utterly smitten.


Yup. I have much love for this scene.



John and Rodney? Not so smitten.


Yes, Rodney, we see how cute he is.



Carson dimples! BTW, does his jacket seem more fiercely yellow than before?


Aww, John does the chin thing, which I just love. So Cute!


This entire scene cracked me up in a big way, but when Elizabeth did the 'and he gave us this' bit it was perfect. Then Carson says 'can I hold it'. ::dies:: Brilliantly done. (And I'm pretty sure JM was about one second from losing it the entire time)

Zelenka is fabulous in this scene. He doesn't have to say a word to make me laugh.


Rodney falling for Lucius has got to be the best thing ever. DH's body language in this entire scene is fabulous.

I love how this scene turned creepy really fast.

I have an actual question about the gate bridge - don't stargates need a planet of some kind to work? They don't necessarily have to be on a planet but near one, in orbit, what have you, don't they? How are they going to set an address for a gate that's in the middle of nothing?

I don't think they need to be near a planet, because in SG1 they've used them from inside of goa'uld motherships that were flying through space.

I'm guessing they have to figure out the new address for each one specifically, though.

Such a fun ep! With the Catwoman/bonding thing, and the John/Sexslave thing, and the complete dorkines. I love seeing everyone so smitten. *g*

I'm very glad they had a light, fun ep after SG-1. Yes, I loved it too, mostly. Daniel was amazing, and I thought he was going to say he wished Jack was there, standing next to him when they approached Atlantis, but my heart broke for Rodney. Okay, the part when he said he and John were, "Very close," made me squee, but the look on his face when Cam shoved a lemon at him broke my heart.

Still, I ended the evening feeling very happy. Them all rushing to the balcony, as exuberant as high school kids, was too much fun. As always, your caps capture the high points perfectly!

Yeah, the John/Rodney stuff from the SG1 ep annoyed me a bit, although I can see it as John just doing his best to get a rise out of Rodney. I can see Rodney giving him shit for it afterward.

as much as i giggled in this episode i was creeped out by lucius. richard kind played that delicate balance very well. there was a enough of the dark underbelly of what he was doing to make my hair on end.

and they did tend to look as if they were having so much fun making the episode. and john has enough blackmail material to last for several lifetimes. hee!

I still love when John smacks Carson on the chest in the jumper and tells him to "Buck up, Carson!" Then when he makes Carson cry...the face was pretty priceless. I also just loved that John was keeping up with Rodney on the science level and the geek level. Nice screencaps!

JM's shoulders are a thing of beauty...

Almost as beautiful as that t-shirt that makes me tingle..*smile* And that sliver of skin when John was stunned by him. And I loved LOVED the lighting when John was in the cell..fantastic scene.

And you so SO know the cleaning of the room..that little *aside* that throw away line..we had touching people!! But more importantly..isn't "cleaning your room/quarters" just another way of saying, let's get some herb and screw our brains out??? we really just want to spend some alone time together. *smile*

I loved this ep. Great pics and commentary. I thought it was obvious everyone had fun. And it was great to see Shep getting to do so much. Be pissed. Be surprised. Be in charge. Be a bit dark. Be dorky with Rodney. His BUCK UP with Carson just makes me all kinds of happy.
