I'm so unmotivated here at work, barely doing what I need to get by, so thank goodness for LJ. And for charlidos, who posted scans of the interview with DH from the Starburst Yearbook. The interview is fairly spoilery for the second half of S3, so beware.

I'm all a-twitter after reading them. It's going to be seriously cool. I need new eps, pronto.

I'm thrilled that they are going to be cut off from earth again, because some of their choices the last couple of years have been ethically hazy (to say the least) and in many ways unconscionable in a non-life or death situation. And with Earth just a hop and a skip away, it wasn't survival mode like it was first season when I cheered for the darker aspect to Atlantis. So this info is making me happy (assuming they remain cut off for more than 1 ep).

Actually, it'd be too cool if this last 1/2 of 3rd season had the Atlantis team dealing with the fall out of going rogue, and getting cut off from earth is their choice - they remain knowing they can't go back, thus completing their "going native" journey.

Anyway, yay!

I really happy about them being cut off again, too. I think the show really flourished in that situation, even though I'm really enjoying the current season.

Thanks for posting the link! I love spoilers - I don't find they detract from my enjoyment of the original source at all, because things are never quite as they're described.

I know, I know! I read the Martin Wood interview that charilos just posted and he says there are some 'incredible scenes' between McKay and Sheppard in that ep.
