So, I'm a little puzzled over some of this Stargate/Atlantis backstory stuff with the Ancients. Probably has something to do with the fact that I missed a few eps of Season 6.

So, what killed off all the ancients anyway? Was it the Wraith, or was it a virus (i.e. "Frozen")? And did they all ascend instead of die?

I'm confuuuuuuused. And whiny about my business trip tomorrow, because I will be without my computer for two whole days. ::sighs::

And my foot hurts. And there's no good coffee where I'm going.

I think that's possibly the theory behind Window of Opportunity--that they built the time machine to go back and stop the plauge. But that's just my take on it. Because the Asgard say that the Ancients moved on from this region of the galaxy a long time ago...

I don't think TPTB have really thought out the storyline...and of course, there could have been so many Ancients that they all met completely different fates. Orlin doesn't say he's ever been to Earth when he's there with Sam.
