Spring Fling is flinging! Because pennyplainknits is so very awesome!

Spring Fling is her collaborative podfic project, and today she's posted my Steve/Danny fic "Let the Rain Kiss You". She's done such a lovely job with it, honestly, I could listen to her read to me all day. She made my story sound so good! I love the way she handles Steve and Danny.

Oh my god. This was so wonderful!! I could listen to this story over and over.

@thegrrrl2002 - My goodness. This fic was so lovely and comfy! Danny's gloominess over Grace and then missing his family is palpable throughout the story. Then the domesticated vs grenades in the garage banter -- funny and tender at the same time! I love how you can see how Danny trusts Steve with his heavy heart and then Steve takes care of him all quiet-like. :)

@pennyplainknits - Wow you have an awesome storytelling voice. It's amazing how you capture everyone's personalities in their dialogue. Each voice is nuanced but still in tune with the timbre of the overall story. Your Danny is perfect! You even nailed his ranting with the sputtering that sounds both annoyed and adorable! Then Steve's all fond and content. *hearts*

I've already rambled & squeed about this, but I just wanted to say again how much I love this story. ♥

I listened to it the first time on a run & I couldn't stop smiling! I love how easy the boys are with each other & the way they just fit. ♥ Thank you - again - for this wonderful peek into their life together. :)
