There's a new interview posted at about.com with Joe Flanigan. It's pretty much spoiler-free, as far as I could tell. It's sort of a silly interview, (I found the interviewer to be kind of annoying) but I was very happy to see this when JF was asked about working with DH:
He’s a great counterpart to my character. We were having some fun working together. I said to the producers, and I was just joking around, “Why don’t we do some of the Bob Hope/Bing Crosby episodes in space?” And you’ll see that in this season, he and I getting ourselves into trouble and then trying to get out. He has the brain, and I have the gun.

I was very glad to see that they were still playing up the Sheppard and McKay fun in the new season. I think TPTB themselves weren't really expecting it, from some of the comments I've seen. I actually suspect that McKay wasn't intended to go off-world regularly, and that might be while Zelenka's role has grown.
I was interested in seeing JF comment that McKay gets on Sheppard's nerves.
I think that's certainly a simplification of their relationship. *g* I also thought it was interesting that he mentioned the security vs. exploration issue--that really hadn't come up yet, and I can see it as a possible source of confict. So maybe that's what he's talking about.
I'm really looking forward to the new season. Very much so.
